3.3. How to backup ChronoScan Enterprise

On this guide you will find included all the steps to perform a full backup of your ChronoScan Enterprise installation.

ChronoScan Enterprise have a database component and a local hard drive component and both need to be backed up. The step by step guides can be found on the following sections :

Database Backup
Local Folder Backup

After both backups are done your ChronoScan configuration is fully backup.

To restore the backup on another location the new database location must be changed from within ChronoScan.

Make sure the highlighted settings point to the correct SQL server instance and database name.

NOTE: Please make sure that ChronoScan or any of it's services are NOT running before performing any backup as it will create a incomplete backup.
