For applications where other methods of splitting documents with more than one page is not applicable there is the possibility of using PatchCode pages that should be scanned together with the documents between each document to Split the different documents. ChronoScan recognizes several different types of PatchCodes as you can see here. Let's learn how to setup a PatchCode Split.
Just like Barcode Split, PatchCode Split also happens at input time, since using PatchCodes require the PatchCode pages to be scanned or input before any document is imported into ChronoScan the setup process is easier and simpler.
First and before starting the import process don't forget to enable PatchCode Split either using the Document Split Menu or at Job setup time or by using the Advanced Job configuration on the Administration Tab.
Make sure you know the PatchCode type used so it can be selected on the Select PatchCode menu;
After selecting the correct PatchCode used just start the import process, all the PatchCode pages will be removed automatically and all the documents will be split as desired.
