When using a trigger to perform a report split there are a few things to keep in mind.
First and foremost make sure that the trigger text is placed on the regular expression field (OnRegExpExist) as shown in the image:
If you are using just a bit of text to get the split, and not a regular expression, make sure you set "Use constant report split key" to true as shown in the image below :
After making sure all the desired settings are set process the document to get the split. The split documents will display a red overlay showing where the text on the document is being ignored.
