It is possible to set default properties for OCR Zones in a way that any OCR Zones created for newly created document types use the same settings.
To set default values for a specific field first you must create the OCR Zone for an existing document type. Then open the properties panel and select the OCR Zone.
Once a value is changed for any of the properties on the properties panel it will be set as a default.
To remove the default values just open the properties for the OCR Zone and clear the values on the fields. Alternatively you can also remove the files located inside C:\ProgramData\ChronoScan\Types\Defaults that refers to the correct job and data field pair. The files will be named in the following manner:
