3.4.11.1.1. Advanced Data Extraction
 
Using Advanced Data Extraction the user can perform intelli-tag searches, line capture and VbScriptting within the data captured by an OCR Zone. Very useful when using simple OCR Zones or intelli-tags won't work well for the documents and data at hand.

Intelli-tag Search

1. Intelli-tag Search
The Intelli-Tag search function will enable intelli-tag search within OCR Zones. Multiple Intelli-tag searches can be performed within the same OCR Zone.

Line Extraction

2. Line Extraction
The Line Extraction function will allow the user to extract specific lines from the data captured by the OCR Zone.

Delete Selected

3. Delete Selected
Search modules created by the user can be selected and removed using the delete button.

Edit Selected

4. Edit Selected
Search modules created by the user can be selected and edited using the edit button.

Execute Capture

5. Execute Capture
All the search modules created by the user can be executed by using the execute button. This button should be used only for testing. Whenever OCR Reading is run all the advanced capture options will be run as well.

ADV. Capture Elements

6. ADV. Capture Elements
All created Advanced Capture modules will be displayed here together with any VBScripts added. Using this list it is possible to select, remove and edit each added module.

Extraction Details

7. Extraction Details
This panel will display information regarding all extraction modules enabled. It can come in handy whenever there is a module that is not working as expected.

Preset Management

8. Preset Management
After adding all the desired extraction modules a template can be created for later use using the Preset Management box. Set the desired name and click on the save button to create a new preset or use the dropdown menu to select an existing one.

Save Configuration

9. Save Configuration
After all the needed modules are added and are working as expected click on the Save Configuration button to save the current configuration and close the Advanced Data Extraction panel. Don't forget to create a preset using the Preset Management box if you plan on using the same or similar configuration for other document types.
