3.5.2.4.2. XLS Extract

On the XLS Extract tab you can setup data extraction for XLS files that are imported together with regular image files.

The data extracted will be transferred to your first Data Grid.

In order for extraction to be setup successfully, the excel file must contain a header row.

Add Column Configuration

Select the header row from the Data Panel and click on the Add button to create columns automatically.

This step is needed so the map between the xls fields and the grid fields can be created.

The Data Panel will display the data extracted from the xls file.

This dropdown list will display all available header configurations.

Once a configuration is created using the Add Column Configuration button, it will be available here.

This button will refresh the header configuration list in case a recently created configuration does not display yet on the list.

After the Column configuration has been added, the xls columns can be mapped to your Grid fields.

The Edit Map button will open up the XLS Mapping Tool.

Currency translations can be set here.

You can delete the current mapping configuration using the delete configuration button.

The Open XLS button will open the current XLS file.
