Customizable Buttons can be used for a huge variety of tasks, whenever a new button with a specific function is desired those buttons can be used to execute a VBScript. The customizable buttons can be turned on on Actions can be performed on OnButtonUpdate and OnButtonClick, just click on the gear icon for the desired action to open the VBScript editor window where it is possible to design the function for each button.
