In order to scan files using a local scanner the user must install the Scan Plug-In. In order to install it, in the Batch Creation window select the Scan option.

When the Scan options window shows up a notification will pop up where it will be possible to install the Scan Plug-In. Just click on Install Scan Plug-In, download the file to your computer and run it.
NOTE: Don't forget to allow network access when asked at the end of the installation.
