Installer asks for internet connection (when connection exists)... won't install

Hi,

I have un-installed, then tried to reinstall Chronoscan.

When the installer starts, it generates an error saying that: "Sorry the system cannot be updated, makes sure you have a valid internet connection ()".

This has occurred both with my original download of the installer, and with a freshly downloaded installer from: www.chronoscan.org/downloads_default.asp

I am very interested to re-install, and possibly to sign up for software maintenance. Is software maintenance available to licenses that are not current on maintenance renewals?
