Reprocessing a batch normally runs the whole processing chain again. A reprocess profile defines a shorter, named chain so you can redo only one thing: run the AI again after improving the prompt, read the fields again with a new Intelli-Tag, rerun the scripts, redo the OCR with another engine, without touching the rest and without losing the manual corrections.
Defining profiles
In the job configuration, the Reprocess profiles section lists the profiles of the job. Each one has a name, the processing stages to run (the same stage names as the Process and Tasks settings, for example OCR;TYPEDETECT;FIELDREAD or OPENAIMODEL;AI_ASSISTANTS), the stages to run when the processing finishes, and whether the documents are reset before running it.
Running them
From the ribbon, on the selected documents or the whole batch (Document panel, process menu).
From a scheduled task or a script, with the CUSTOMREPROCPROFILES stage or ChronoBatch.ExecuteProcess.
In ChronoScan Enterprise, from the batch panel on several batches at once.
Typical use: a prompt was improved and 200 exported batches of the archive must be read again with it; a profile with only the AI stages, applied by a task overnight, does it without reopening each batch by hand.
