2.4.2. License Activation and Deactivation

Licenses are activated online against the ChronoScan HUB: the computer must be connected to the Internet. Each license code activates one installation; to move it to another PC uninstall it first (License Deactivation). The License Manager (Help panel of the Scan/Input tab) shows the installed products, their status and the maintenance expiry date; maintenance gives the right to updates and support. AI and cloud OCR consumption is paid with ChronoScan credits, managed in the HUB (ChronoScan Cr. button).

 

 

Follow this guide to uninstall a license.

To activate a license follow the steps above:

 

1. Click on the License manager button located on the Scan/Input Tab.

 

 

2. Click on the Install License button:

 

 

3. Insert your license code on the Activate License Window and click on Check License:

 

 

4. Click on yes to activate your license:
