3.4.6.1.6.4.1. Grid Cutter
 
The Grid Cutter can be used to separate one document into several smaller ones. On the image above each cell generated will create a new document that can later be imported again into ChronoScan for reprocessing. If the Add to Header option is enabled the user will get the top of the page added on each created image.
 
After setting everything up import all the desired documents and the Grid Cutter will take effect.
 
NOTE: The Grid Cutter will work only for documents with a fixed layout where all rows and/or columns have the same length.
NOTE: To setup the grid cutter the user will need to import a sample document into the Batch. The Grid Cutter runs at import time.

Grid Settings

1. Grid Settings
Adjusting the grid settings will change how the documents will be split. After changing one value the grid will be updated over the document so the user can see how the document will be split.

Safe Margin

2. Safe Margin
A margin can be created to avoid clipping needed parts of the document. The margin will affect each cell individually, create a safe area around each final clip.

Add Header

3. Add Header
Enabling the Add Header option will add the top of the image to each new generated document.
